日曜日の夜、知り合いからのお誘いがあり、新宿ピットインへ「渡辺香津美 ギター生活40周年記念 スペシャルセッション vol.2」へ行ってきた。
渡辺香津美のギターを初めて聞いたのは、もう、35年くらい前になる。
今は亡き、日野元彦のリーダーアルバムである「TOKO 日野元彦 クァルテット at ネム･ジャズイン」だった。
これをきっかけに、渡辺香津美のリーダーアルバムはもちろん、参加しているアルバムも買いあさった。
当時、「THREE BLIND MICE」というJazz専門の国内のレーベルがあって、結構、渡辺香津美の参加しているアルバムなどもあった。
鈴木勲の「Blue City」「Touch」「Orang-Utan」「AKO’S DREAM」、中本マリの「MARI NAKAMOTO III」、今田勝の「GREEN CATERPILLAR」など・・・・
ライブのメンバーは、渡辺香津美、日野皓正、鈴木勲だった。
渡辺香津美のオリジナル、鈴木勲のオリジナルなどもあり、スタンダードもありと楽しいセッションだった。
また、この日は、僕を誘ってくれた方の知り合いの方も来ていたのだが、この方が、僕が学生時代に結構通っていた、新宿にあったJazzのライブハウス「タロー」のマスターだった。その当時、面識があったわけではないが、ライブ終了後、いろいろと当時の話を聞かせていただき、楽しい時間を過ごした。
この「タロー」のマスターのはからいで、写真撮ってきました。

すばらしかったですよ。鈴木勲氏は、今年で77際なんですが、すごいパワフルでした。

前日酔ってしまい（スプラッシュで（笑））すっかり忘れてました。

先日は、スプラッシュだったんでか(^^*)
1970年代中期あたりから、鈴木勲グループに参加していたミュージシャンは、ほんとにすばらしいミュージシャンが多かったように思います。
なおとりさんが、鈴木勲さんとのリハをツィッターでチェックしていたとは、びっくりです！

練習成果などは近日ムービーにてupしてみようと思います。
ベース弾いた直後ですと、ストラトがちっちゃく感じます。
鈴木勳さん、”OMA SOUND”バンドで横浜で2度聞きましたが、大人の
味わい深い演奏でした。ああ、いつかああいう演奏をしてみたいものです。

先日も鈴木勲さんは、イイ感じでしたよ。
これは、演出なのか？ほんとにそうだったのか？真実はわからないのですが、途中で手がつったと言って、途中、2曲くらい抜けちゃいました(^^;
Milestoneとか、かっこよかったなー。
